I will start the treatment with a Spinal Concussion. This is a soft treatment to the spine where we will loosen any mucus in the spinal column as well as the Perennial sheath (nerve center from the brain that runs through the spine) this treatment opens up the nerve center, so when working on the feet, the nerve signal will have a straight connection to the brain, and go to the point of injury quickly. This is a non intrusive treatment that I start all clients with. Many clients find this to be the best part of the treatment.
This is the same treatment that Dr. Riley performed on his clients in 1924. He would not start a Zone therapy treatment without doing this procedure first.
Afterwards, we will examine the foot. This examination consists of massaging/rotating/and relaxing the foot, looking for any abnormalities, fungus, ingrown nails, bunions, etc...
We will then be looking for tender areas, at which time I will be using either hand, or tool techniques to work the tenderness out.
All foot treatments are done in stocking feet unless you prefer to have your socks off.
After foot manipulation we will put the infrared light on the feet, to irradiate the red blood cells, and get the circulation moving freely to the affected area and move the waste products out of your system.
The total treatment time is roughly around 1 hour, but it could be more depending on how your body reacts to the Infrared light.
Your body will let you know when the treatment is over. If you are pressed for time, then we will limit the time to an hour.
If the problem is a chronic problem, treatment time could go from a few months to a few years. Your commitment to a change in lifestyle and will greatly improve the healing rate.
I generally do not want to schedule two days in a row, as the body needs time to adjust and cleanse the toxins that have been released into your system.
